Sick of the up-selling.
I’ve been listening since day one, but the constant upselling of subscriptions and 15 minute “previews” during the World Cup are killing the podcast. I appreciate these people want to be paid for their time, but podcasts are supposed to be a Labour of love. A way to connect with the community you’re serving. The amount of content being filtered to the paid stream means the actual podcast suffers. Take it fully subscription based if it’s all about the money for you. £7.99 per month right now is a lot to ask of people. Also, if you’re going say you’ll put a link or picture in instagram in the podcast, at least put it on instagram. Lost count of the number of times you’ve forgotten. Listen, it’s a good podcast, but you already have ads in the show and you’re cherry picking all of the good content to your paid service. There’s hardly anything left for the people that listen to you on the free ad-supported stream. 4 stars if it wasn’t for the subscription up selling and lack of ad-supported content. Update: Most of the uploads are just 20min preview of the paid version. Totally pointless. Just add some sponsors and release the whole episode. Or release them 6 months after the subscribers.

More reviews of Quickly Kevin; will he score? The 90s Football Show
Wonderful nostalgia for a great era of football, was going to give it 5 stars anyway but feel pier pressured into it by Josh Widdicombe, a bit like Arsenal youngsters with Paul Merson in the 90s probably.

A must listen for football fans who remember a time when it was possible to play indoor football on FIFA rather than creating a hypothetical 'ultimate team.'Read full review »
