It's a week of Mark Radcliffe and he's joined by former Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas who talks about his film The Festival. Joe explains why he's happy to humiliate himself in the name of film and television. Norman Blake of Teenage Fanclub chats down the line from Glasgow. The band have released vinyl reissues of five of their albums and he speaks about their recording archive and how they've kept songwriting within the band democratic. There's a new film about James Lavelle called The Man From Mo Wax. James was one half of UNKLE and the other original member was DJ Shadow. Mark chats to James about how the film portrays him, and how it's not always in the best light. Chrissie Hynde drops by our Salford studio ahead of a Pretenders gig at the AJ Bell Stadium with Simple Minds and KT Tunstall. She lets Mark know what it's like being vegetarian in a touring band and how the world is actually a much better place than it used to be.
