The air I breathe (through my ears)
Some 3 years ago I was diagnosed with metastatic Stage 4 prostate cancer, Gleason Score 9 (out of 10 aggressiveness). Serious stuff. During my research about this disease I discovered the Radical Remission book, Dr Kelly Turner’s first book, based on her discovery of many people around the world who’d been diagnosed with serious, sometimes terminal disease and sent home to perish, yet here they were telling Dr Turner their stories many years later. These were thoroughly, medically documented cases, so the data Dr Kelly was reading was dense. This book was precisely what I needed to read and listen to during the next few months of treatment. It gave me such hope and motivation that after 6 sessions of chemotherapy alone my oncologist called me on December 14th and said “Merry Christmas! It’s a little miracle but there is no trace of your cancer - it’s all gone.” Based on the stories in the book as well as consulting with an integrative GP and also a naturopath, I was eating well and nourishing food, having multivitamin infusions, exercising regularly yet gently, and making peace with people in my world. At times there were lots of tears, and I saw that as toxic energy leaving my body. I began to recommend the Radical Remission book - and its equally brilliant follow up Radical Hope - to everyone. I also downloaded the Radical Remission program available through Dr Kelly’s site to watch on my laptop and TV, and today drive and hike and cook while listening to this Podcast series, which I love and also highly recommend to everyone. I’m happy to rate it 5 STARS and recommend it to you. You’re here reading this at this moment for a reason… so do subscribe, download the episodes and hit PLAY.
