Phenomenal
Enya Umanzor, also known by her internet name Enjajaja, has proven time after time to be an effective comedian. Though she isn’t a traditional comedian in which she makes orchestrated jokes that request an audience to laugh after every one of them; instead, she delivers comedy through her discussion of everyday life events. Like any other artist, Enya invites her audience into her ingenious mind and allows them to hear and witness her rawness. She delivers comedy with timing. Timing is everything. Timing is key in making anyone laugh. Enya can be having a serious conversation, be telling a “story time” (if anyone calls them that anymore,” or be criticizing those in power in social media, and through her tone of voice, selection of sounds (yes, sounds), allusions to meme culture, and speed of dialect, she is able to capture every audience member and make them either smile, blow harder air out their nose, or the most common effect, burst out laughing. Such a genuine podcast is offered in this platform. If you like her videos, this is 10 times better. Nothing is too serious, she always adds a splash of herself here and there. She is respectful to her guests but then again she is best friends with everyone on. The length is perfect. Lengthy podcasts are always better podcasts because it permits discussion without interruption or rush. If anything, this podcast could be longer and it wouldn’t lose any of its charm. Good job Enya, you’re always making everyone proud.
