Everything changes
Robert Krulwich and Jad Abumrad made it seem so effortless. They created a one-of-a kind show. One that was fabulous, informative, creative and built around Science. But now we have the new generation. A new crew that has demonstrated amateur stewardship will transform a once brilliant show into a convoluted and irritating mess. Lulu Miller, Latif Nasser, et al, behave like a gaggle of college pals, yakking it up in a late night dorm room, toke session. They are crass, self-absorbed, and often whiney. They lack the style, authenticity, and the affable on-air presence the former host brought to the show. The newer shows are much less fascinating. Now the topics seem more inline with the narrow scope of the new host and their limited personal experiences. I so miss Jad and Robert.
