“I LOVE this podcast!! I was one of those young people raised by Ricki, and it is such a trip down memory lane. The conversation is laid back and welcoming. I wasnt’ sure if I would like Kalen, but he is a nice addition for sure, and offers a different generational perspective. It was an interesting time, and I remember Ricki’s show representing marginalized populations. Which is more meaningful looking back. It is hard to imagine, but there really wasn’t a great deal of representation on television like her show. Was the show a bit over the top at times? Yes. But that was the fun. I would love to hear more about the episodes and maybe even try to find out what happened to the guests. But really, this is just a joy to listen to. For anyone who felt like you and Ricki would be friends if you ever met, this is for you!”
