Description
Dahlya Brown Shook is owner of Holistic Medical Healing.  She is a Brain Mastery Specialist & Intuitive Emotional Healer who uses her diverse training and multidimensional approach to facilitate mind, body, & spirit integration so that the person with a sensitive nervous system can truly thrive, heal and transcend beyond self imposed and limiting boundaries. Dahlya suffered with multiple mental health diagnoses (anxiety, depression, addiction, hair pulling)  for over 2 decades and has recovered from all of them using the exact approaches she teaches, even though the traditional medical field told her it was impossible.  She says whole body healing is a puzzle and Dahlya puts those pieces together to offer kids, adults, and parents radical transformations using lifestyle, attitude, nutrition, movement, sensory and magic. She has extensive personal experience in the traditional healthcare model as a patient and healthcare professional so she knows first hand the breakdown in the system which only results in families not healing the way they actually can.  Dahlya is Nationally licensed and Board Certified in Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Prevention & Wellness. She is Certified in Holistic Health, Tai Chi and Yoga for Healthcare Professionals, & Integrative Medicine for Mental Health. She has transitioned out of the traditional healthcare model to facilitate brain and body rewiring so that kids and adults can live a life that they thought could never be their reality. Join us on todays podcast episode as we deep dive into a variety of issues from child behavior, anxiety, stress, coping mechanisms, the importance of play and so much more
