Helping Veterans in Business Succeed Together with Rebecca Aguilera-Gardiner
Listen now
Description
Veterans have a wealth of life experiences from serving in the Armed Forces, but they also require help, mentorship, and support for entrepreneurship. Rebecca Aguilera-Gardiner realized this when she started a family business with her brother, a service-disabled veteran. Rebecca started the Veterans in Business Network to help veteran entrepreneurs scale their businesses by building connections with corporations, government agencies, and prime contractors looking to create partnerships. Through the VIB Network, veteran businesses gain access to free resources, educational seminars, outreach opportunities, and a Veteran 2 Veteran Business Cohort Program. It also has an impressive list of partners, and its directory covers the whole country, including Puerto Rico, Guam, and London! Last year, the VIB Network received the International Bronze Stevie Award for Event of the Year.
