How can you not “fall in love”
The advice I got from a friend that I have never regretted was “Read aloud to your kids”. During the pandemic when we couldn’t go out with our toddlers, we read books. When my oldest just refused to fall asleep, we put on audiobooks to TRY to keep her in her bedroom. One day at 3 years old, she came down to breakfast and she wanted to tell me “the funny thing that happened to Wilbur in Charlotte’s Web last night.” My mouth fell open, she was listening. This podcast keeps me going. There’s no mom guilt. There’s no unsolicited advice. It’s not another thing to add to my to-do list. I trust the book lists. The podcast encourages me, gives me some ideas, and tells me I am enough.

Sarah has a winsome style, and the podcast had great content. I left it with a renewed committment to reading aloud and keeping the kids' memorizing poetry. Keep the podcasts coming!Read full review »
