In honor of April being sexual violence awareness month I am sharing my own story. It has taken me over 20 years to get to this point. The numbers of cases of documented sexual violence have been on the rise in the last decade and that's not even thinking about those that go unreported. Let's talk about and educate each other about this topic. What happened to me was terrible and I don't wish that on anyone. Let's stop it once and for all especially for generations following

The couple got married many years ago and are looking to get connected with a man who took pictures of their wedding back in 1965. John Brown who was married to Betty Brown back then used his camera to capture images of the weeding but since Dennis and Shirley left town after the wedding they did not stay in contact with John. Shirley gave me permission to use this platform to cast a wider net in search of John and Betty or their families about the pictures.

Researchers have explored this and concluded that there seems to be an association between our attachment styles as infants to the romantic relationships we choose.
