Willink served as a Navy SEAL for 20 years, rising to platoon commander. While serving in Iraq in 2006, Willink led Task Unit Bruiser during the violent battle of Ramadi. Bruiser became the most highly decorated Special Operations unit of the Iraq war. Since retiring from the Navy, Willink has built an entrepeneur’s empire, forming a consulting firm Echelon Front with his fellow SEAL Leif Babin, a fitness company, MMA schools, published non-fiction books on leadership, and records the popular “Jocko Podcast.” Most recently he is the author of his first fiction book for adults “Final Spin.”
