moth*r fu$&ing pathetic insipid intellectual foundation upon which shakey scaffolding rises up attempting to reach important issues of today. Because of the infantile foundation, the top of the scaffolding might end up in the same spot that true reasoning might put it, or more often, should it ever get that high, it is wildly, dangerously displaced. Silly me. I had thought people grew out of this Ayn Rand amateur ratiocination around the same time they started with pubic hair and acne. Rather than arriving at an understanding of imp. contemporary issues based on ethical humanitarian values regarding matters of justice, equality under law, et al. so-called free-tarians begin from a FAITH in what is nothing but an absolutist ideology. I still dont get the traction beyond the early teen mind--after all, the ideology itself is so stupidly flawed as to resist any thoughtful, intelligent, rational dissection. To be a true libertarian believer is to be as sad and pathetic a HOMO SAPIEN, thinking being, as to be a true believer of the sort they hold that the black letters on the white pages of their edition of the Bible represents the true timeless words of G-d given to Man. Jesus Christ, how pathetic, sad, and dangerous. All the more sad that (like the broken clock twice a day) they arrive at sensible, comprehensively defensible positions with some issues.

Gillespie often makes me laugh aloud, and as I...Read full review »

Healthy dissent to the dichotomy that is American politics. Love the podcast, give us more (just no anarchy stuff, it’s idiotic and contributes nothing)
