Two Dope Queens do Gilead
After trying several of the many podcasts out there about A Handmaid’s Tale, I am so happy to have finally found Red All Over. Kelly and Molly are two hilarious commentators with hot takes on the show and pop culture at large. I laughed out loud multiple times in the first 10 minutes. Compared to the insufferable gaggle from Afterbuzz’s Handmaid’s podcast or the snoozercast, Mayday, these two are uproarious and irreverent while being insightful and incisive. It’s like Two Dope Queens meets Binge Mode (GOT). While Molly and Kelly run the risk of indulging too much in their (hilarious)sideline tangents (which made Binge Mode at times unlistenable), they usually pull it back and bring home the point. They go deep on interesting aspects of show (music picks) and share honest critiques of the show. The pair’s chemistry is the difference-maker for me. One little ask I have of Kelly & Molly: fix your podcast titles to make it easier to find episode recaps. As someone who is just catching up on the series in 2021, I passed over this podcast several times because I couldn’t make sense of the titles and descriptions to find the recap that corresponded with the episode I was on.

I love love love this podcast! It's very casual in the way Kelly and Molly are discussing the book/programme. I feel like I'm hangin with some friends who are just as wacky and into the handmaids tale as I am.Read full review »

This is the most inane and self indulgent podcast I have ever listened to. 90% prepubescent locker room jokes and 10 % analysis and insight. I tried the Book podcasts and 3.5 of the Movie podcasts and couldn't take this ridiculous cackle podcast any longer. Sorry but Worst Podcast I have ever...Read full review »

I wanted to like this podcast. I like that it started with the book before the tv show. But when I was 12 minutes into the first episode and all they'd covered were the quotes at the front of the book and the fact that it starts in a gym and all the rest had been pointless, unrelated...Read full review »
