High Hopes
The concept of time, the uni/multiverse, and alternate timelines have fascinated me personally to no end since childhood. “Red Rhino” takes advantage of the questions often asked regarding these topics and exploits them using a main victim of the answers. Combining all of this with a superpower in the mix may seem overwhelming at face value, but each aspect of the story seems to fit in with the other like in a fit of beautifully organized chaos, like one of those holographic puzzles. I’ve only finished the first full episode, and I’m already growing attached to Wess (our main protagonist)—though whether or not that was a wise choice or a soon-to-be painful mistake, I only have time to tell. Let’s hope the full story can be released before we’re all savagely downgraded to dust by the multiverse—tangentially.
