Boring & Conversationless
The sound is good and it is nice that there isn’t that many to keep track of. But the Keeper does some wierd move calls and doesn’t seem to listen to the players. Like a monster is about to attack, the player is asked “what do they do?” to which they answer: I dodge. The Keeper then announces that the monster hits and they take harm. No roll or anything. So doesn’t feel like a conversation or “play to see what happens”. So I was bored.

One of my favorite monster of the week podcasts. If you enjoy the actual play podcast genre, and looking for an engaging story. I’d give it a listen.

I tried this podcast after recommendations from both The Storyteller’s Squad and The Monster’s playbook, and so far it is fun and enjoyable. Well worth the listen!
