Description
In this episode, AJ discusses ways that leaders can better support their teachers.
This year is HARD on everyone; teachers, support staff, school leaders, and district leaders. As a new Vice Principal I am trying to make this year as easy as possible for our staff. While my ideas seem simple, these are ideas that can be done by other leaders, teacher leaders and aspiring leaders so that they can make sure the climate in their building is a strong and positive one.
5 Ways Leaders Can Support the Teachers
1. Check in and Be Supportive
2. Walk the halls
3. Guide teachers with the right resources and give them freedom
4. Offer Encouragement and Celebrate Successes
5. Be a Model
