Wonderful and Sad
Dr. Hauerwas shares an incredible story of life with his mentally ill wife. His poignant descriptions of their life together, raising his son (often alone), and all the challenges that come with having a mentally ill spouse, are powerfully raw and deeply introspective. His story is not an academic treatise, but a testimony of real life. Upon hearing his testimony, one is reminded of the complexity of mental illness and the need for integrated approaches to healing - spiritual, medical, physical, etc. This story is a gift for anyone willing to listen.

Just a guy complaining his wife wouldn't be christian. This is utterly pathetic.

I can't believe it's explicit though.
