Smart Perspectives
I really enjoy the broey youtube channel so i came to the podcast to see what their perspectives are on these cultural topics and i got exactly that. They approach subjects with a lot of compassion and the perspective of who is going to be affected on the micro and macro scale of culture/ communities; While trying to keep a level of skepticism that acknowledges the history of each issue. Are they perfect? No, in fact for topics that they aren’t as knowledgeable on they admit to it at the beginning and usually get someone else to be a guiding voice for those conversation. Still some episodes i leave wishing i had heard even more context or additional voices, but their conversation allows me to launch off into my own research if i’m interested. I see them as giving a voice to a type of causal conversation that is still critical and nuanced that should be happening between friends all the time. Honestly, the podcast has given me some new perspectives that i haven’t thought of or hadn’t humored before. Hope they get to keep going for as they’re interested! +funny
