In our conversation with Allan Ball, Director of White Ribbon Australia, we talk about our epidemic of male violence against women and why men must take responsibility for ending it. Over the last 15 years, Allan Ball has led social movements, frontline service delivery and international community engagement projects to assist women and children who are experiencing domestic violence and abuse. He has previously worked for Local Government, State Government, Federal Government and the Corporate Sector; and is now the National Director of Australia’s largest social movement asking men to intervene in and advocate for an end to men’s violence against women. Allan is a member of multiple international and national bodies focused on men’s engagement, masculinity, domestic violence prevention, gender equity and youth empowerment including serving as a Non-Executive Director of the 100% Project. Allan is a global influencer as a Top Voice for Gender Equity on Linkedin Global and is devoted to social justice and human rights.
