“I used to be a loyal listener of Remember When as of just yesterday when co-hosts Parris and Jay put out their recent episode after 6 months out (normally a 1-year gap). About 3 minutes in, Parris says he hated "Rogue One: a STAR WARS story" (GASP!), Jay says he hated "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" (GASP!), that when I turned it off. That was the straw that broke the camel's back. I've had it with the massive - MASSIVE - inconsistency that Parris & Jay have in releasing podcast episodes. MOST podcasts out there are able to have shows out weekly despite their hosts having busy work schedules and home lives (Take Rebel Force Radio, for example - great guys over there!)... not Parris & Jay. I've had it with the same old excuse they use like a script, EVERY YEAR they release show episode, with promises to release more per year like their listener base wants. And what's just as bad: their show title is "Remember When", yet they don't discuss movies and TV shows from the good old days, they reminisce on what's current, ignoring stuff from the 80s like MacGyver, The A-Team, the Bill & Ted movies, etc. . I've found better podcasts to listen to while Remember When has been inactive. You want to listen to a good podcast covering geeky topics? Try Rebel Force Radio instead, I guarantee you, you won't regret doing so - it releases every Friday, and has all sorts of other shows released during each month as well. Peace out!”
