“Y’know what I think about when I remember what I really enjoyed about being into football as a kid? It was sitting in the living room of my nan and grandad’s house, cup of tea in hand with a chocolate digest and rich tea biscuit at the ready, watching Final Score on Grandstand with the vidiprinter in full flow getting really excited about all the results, and I mean all of them, always living in hope someone would get the fabled (SEVEN) badge of honour or shame against their name. It’s as simple as that and this podcast makes me that way about football.
Most things about the game kinda tire me out, but if there are good people talking about amazing goals, legendary characters; kits, kits and more kits and all the good things in the game than I’m there. That’s why I listen to this show.”
