“I’ve been a long time follower of Rene through iMore and more recently his solo efforts whilst still at iMore and as an independent. Much as I respect his insight and views I’ve finally turned off my subscription to the channel. As he kind of admits himself he is a slave to YouTube algorithms which impact on the clickbait titles and alleged sweet spot durations of the episodes. I also find the constant MCU references and seamless links into advert to be irritating. It would be nice if he could switch focus from chasing casual viewers driven by youtube placement to focus on what his regular followers who listen(ed) to every episode most value. Sad to be going and just wanted to leave a hopefully constructive review to explain why.”
