Rad Racer was, in many ways, an Outrun clone, but it was also ahead of its time for a home console racing game on the NES. Does this game and its sequel live up to the Square name, or was it just a weird footnote before they became the Final Fantasy company? More importantly, remember when Trevor and Johnny reviewed Final Fantasy VI? What a freaking disaster.

Merry Christmas! Trevor and Johnny are back with a genuine Christmas game: Daze Before Christmas from Sunsoft for the Super Nintendo and Sega Mega Drive. The guys get really jolly this episode, then crash to reality pretty quickly. Ok, they never were that high to begin with. Really, you’re better off not listening to this one if you’re in a decent mood right now.
