You, my friend, have stumbled upon an automotive diamond in the rough
If you are reading this review before you try listening to an episode, just to make sure it’s going to be worth your while, I am going to stop you right here…press play. Doesn’t matter which episode you start with. Just start. Now if you’re still reading, I’ll say this: Are the hosts a little biased? Yes. Does it annoy me that no matter the scenario or question 2 of the 3 hosts are going to pick a BMW of some kind for their answer regardless? Yes. Do they talk about Tesla and the new Supra in every single conversation like Joe Rogan brings up DMT and bow hunting? YES. But, do I still wait every Thursday with bated breath for the weekly episode to drop? You better heckin believe it. The hosts completely run away with this show, from cold hard industry news breaks, to complete and utterly pointless on and off topic banter, this podcast has it all. I can almost guarantee you’ll find yourself trying to interject back into your speakers because these boys make you literally feel like you are sitting around the table chatting cars and life with them. Don’t want to yell into your speakers? Send them a question, comment or correction, they read them all. Seriously, the way this show interacts with fans is unlike any other show out there as well. You wait each week for the questions and comments to flow in from the RMP faithful listeners. Speaking of, I am half convinced that the jingles guy Chuck always brings up isn’t even a real listener and its really just an alter ego Chuck created while looking in the mirror and now he sends messages to himself from a made up Instagram account. Back on topic, kudos to Josh for trying to keep the chairs of the other 2 hosts semi planted on leveled ground with topics, notes and news. Because, between Chuck’s wild people from middle earth that wear tin foil hats theories, to Corey’s completely irrational hatred for wireless charging that sparks up weekly, Josh has his hands VERY FULL. For real, give this podcast a shot. If you like cars, friends, builds, food and movie suggestions and overall great automotive industry chatter, look no further than the Revival Motoring Podcast. -Stan P
