“Hi all, long time listener, first time Linglonger. I am here to review my recent experience with the Linglong GREEN-Max All Season tyre. First off, what else is there to say besides “wow”.
I was drawn to the Linglong brand after hearing an advert read during one of my most favourite podcasts, the Rival Mordoring Podcast.
Turned on in many ways, I began my tyre research, as I was in market for new tyres for my 2015 Subaru WRX Limited (mods include: STi badge, STi shift knob, STi floormats, ESR SR07 wheels and a HKS exhaust...Cobb tuning port soon fingers crossed). I settled upon the GREEN-Max AS tyre because I wanted a good year round feel, and having all-wheel drive, I know that all All Season’s are perfect because I’ll always have traction. I have aftermarket ESR SR07 wheels that I got on Facebook marketplace for a sick deal and I needed to figure out the perfect size for my stance. But I didn’t want to sacrifice performance, obviously the WRX handles incredibly and I want the same stock feel, so I went with the 215/55r17. The guys that mounted them at Tire Warehouse gave me an awfully hard time. They said that 215/55r17 aren’t meant for performance ESR 07 17x9.5” wheels and that the tyres were actually meant for a 7.5 inch wheel...I told them to google “stanced WRX STi” and they’d see lots of people do it to their rally race cars. After many debate, they agreed and used some form of fire spray to make the tyre work with the stance wheels. They look perfectly on my 2015 WRX Limited!!
I have driven now with the GREEN-Max All Season tyre’s for 75km and can’t say enough about the feel, I can feel all bumps, like all the bumps in the road, and love the way my car can look and also handle so well. I am doing an autos-x event in 1 week so it will be the real deal test! I will make sure to keep posting on this forum with my updates, I can hope to be getting roughly 10,000k miles on these tyres with before needing replacing, which is super good!
