“I’ve only recently discovered the Rice to Meet you Pod so I am playing catch up (ep 28 and counting). I was introduced to the Uncle Rodger videos by a friend and of course that lead me to the pod. I can’t relate to the cultural aspect as I am white, however this doesn’t take away from the experience of the pod itself, in fact I started listening as a member of my family is Filipino and I want to try and learn about Asian culture to make them feel welcome and at home when they visit (though I did try local food when I visited the Philippines and bone marrow is not the one for me). The pod is a really good tool for educating yourself about Asian culture as well as being hilarious and savage at times too.”
