“BIG fan of their Even the Rich series! They hit all my favorite historical subjects from Jackie Kennedy to Britney Spears. I have gotten through many a tiresome workout thanks to their in-depth reporting.
I subscribed to this podcast because I was a fan of their other work. Unfortunately, it seems that this format is WAY more judgmental. So much negative commentary. Specifically, the recent episode surrounding Prince Harry’s book. The mass of negative comments about the BRF peppered throughout the 9-minutes definitely clouded the little bit of research they had done. (Edward VIII abdicated to marry an American and divorcee, like Harry. Wallis Simpson was not an actress, but a socialite.)
Just kind of a shame…their episodic series are so well researched and thorough. Maybe the quick analysis format isn’t enough time for them?
I’ll stick to the big projects…way less negativity and judgement.”
