Checks the DEI box
Lovely show, I at first wanted to state how this was literally the best podcast ever of any TV series. Alas. After the 1st couple of episodes, the hosts felt compelled to make comments to the effect of giving each episode a rating on how diverse each episode is, and how equitable and inclusive each character is. I guess we stupid consumers of entertainment can’t figure that out for ourselves. I am so TIRED of people polishing their social justice street cred. Give it a rest, they aren’t issuing DEI merit badges - yet……

I really appreciate the loving and thoughtful way that the RTWD hosts approach TED LASSO, as a TV show, as an examination of character and authorship, as a cultural artifact in communication with other art, as a sports show, and as aspirational storytelling.
