“After being a fan of Mary Beth’s standup for years and a follower of Benny’s character videos (I’m a Lana stan so the vids where he impersonates her are my faves), I knew I had to check out their new podcast. It’s such an easy pod to listen to — it feels like sitting with your funniest friends and simply enjoying the conversation taking place.
Both of them are hilarious and make me laugh all the time with the things they think of just off the dome. MB’s vibe when she does standup is cool and demure (her word), so it was delightful to learn she’s a silly goofy girl too. I love how they talk about cultural phenomena and life experiences that are so relatable to the younger millennial subset (early ‘90s baby on board); the Livestrong conversation had me cackling.
Also Benny thank you for talking about having OCD, I ride for this vulnerability!
The relationship they have as best friends is honestly amazing and I’m lowkey a little jealous of the dynamic they have with each other, but mostly I am grateful they choose to share it with us. Ride is FABULUST!”
