“I started listening to the Rabona podcast an early incarnation of stadio during lockdown, or perhaps it was before. I liked the intelligent and in-depth discussions about football and the way that Musa and Ryan would interlace this with thinking about race/racism, culture, music and queerness. Both hosts embody an empathy and a genuine love of the game. The relationship between them is so easy, so welcoming and fun that I feel like I know them, then when they started working with Wrighty it just blew my mind as he’s been my hero since I was a kid. They seem to have both played the game to a decent level which comes across in the things they notice and pick up upon in the podcast. They have done work to get to know themselves as people which becomes apparent in the way that they think about both the large and small things going on in the world. From footballers struggling to huge disasters such as the wars we are currently living through. All approached with sensitivity and care. Thanks so much for bringing together mental health and football in such an engaging way. Keep up the amazing work the depth of knowledge and passion is so needed and appreciated.”
