“I stumbled upon this podcast when Musa appeared on an Arsecast a couple of years ago and I have been a middle-aged fanboy ever since.
To listen to two friends who obviously have a great love for each other talk about a sport that they also love has re-shaped the prism through which I see the beautiful game.
It might have also helped that I discovered Stadio in the middle of lockdown when I was coming out of treatment for cancer and football became this beacon of hope that life for me, and the World would return to normal.
It made me realise that my Arsenal season ticket wasn’t just a ticket to watch my team but a chance to relate to and cultivate friendships with some of the people I enjoy sitting next to at the Emirates. Football is only as good as the people we can enjoy it with and whilst I have only ever shaken Musa’s hand and am yet to shake Ryan’s, by listening to Stadio I get the vicarious pleasure of enjoying football with them. Thank you.”
