Disappointing, very biased and doesn’t scrutinise Labor or Albanese at all
Like a lot of the ABC shows these days the quality has dropped, and the journalists are more aiming for opinion activism rather than reporting hard news which the abc used to pride itself on. In general their focus is always on attacking the Coalition and covering / spinning for Labor mistakes. The Albo gaffe on the UE rate is a great example. Albanese saying the rate is 5.4% suggests he hasn’t extraordinarily hasn’t read a newspaper in 2 years, doesn’t read the Treasury papers or even the two page Budget exec summary they put out, which has the UE rate prominent. That’s all despite giving a Budget reply speech two weeks ago! You would think this gross lack of intellectual curiosity, and Trump level of wilful ignorance from a would be PM would be worthy of coverage given wage growth is the central issue of the campaign. But alas to the abc better to focus on woke trans politics - who needs the economy anyway 😂. Come on abc you can do so much better. Bring on genuine experts in economics not left leaning journos desperate to cover for Albo

Undoubtedly my favourite talkshow! Insightful and confronting arguments, always speculating both sides of the story.
