The new women's domestic cricket season gets under this weekend, the second year provincial women players have been contracted. One of those players is a 17-year old Palmerston North schoolgirl, whose being touted as having the qualities for a successful career in the game. In a brief stint with the Central Hinds last season, Ashtuti Kumar, showed enough skill to warrant a contract. As sports reporter Barry Guy found out, Kumar seems destined for bigger things.
