“So the nice thing about podcasts is you can do whatever you want. You have a lot of freedom with characters and story, even with a historical fiction. But the characters here were very empty and trope-y. The mystery also just wasn’t brought up enough to garner any interest. You’re much more focused on MC’s trouble with the colony than her struggle against something killing the people around her.”
