Long time, comic book fan, here. Obviously, I was very familiar with your 90s work, first at Marvel and then as a creator of Image. I started listening to your podcast at the beginning of April after I saw your impassioned post on Instagram regarding the tragic passing of Ed Pisker. I was a big Cartoonist Kayfabe fan and I’m really shocked and saddened by Ed’s death. Such a loss! Since I subscribed and started listening, I have been impressed with your positivity and passion for the comic book medium, which you share with Ed. The world needs more of that! I want you to know how much I’ve enjoyed going through your catalogue of episodes and that you are costing me a pretty penny as I hunt down back issues that you’ve stoked my passion for. I also have a bone to pick with you: I usually listen to podcasts to fall asleep at night, but your podcast is so darn interesting, I end up missing out on sleep!
Anyway, today, I finally steeled up the nerve to listen to your tribute to Ed and I want you to know how sincerely touched I was by this episode. Thank you!!!
