“I love that in this podcast, Rob is speaking from the heart, not only as a pro with decades of experience, but more importantly, he’s speaking as a true fan. He’s sharing the personal stories that are so relatable to anyone who likewise grew up with comics, and he makes it so relatable. I love hearing the background and perspective he brings, knowing that he was a kid at the newsstand just like so many others, who was moved by the 4-color heroes and their amazing worlds. While my background was DC instead of Marvel, he still takes a holistic view and really looks at the state of the industry, how the characters we see now in big budget movies were developed in their relative infancy and adolescence, and he offers insights he’s gained through the years in meeting and working with various creators. Thanks, Rob, for sharing, especially in a time where a pandemic is making many people feel isolated and alone.”
