“Incoming Fax: Hey Bud, greetings from Oakland, CA! I mention this because before listening to Robservations, I had no idea that Rob was discovered at the Oakland Comic-Con back in the day. Little tidbits like this is why I keep coming back to this podcast.
Robservations is the ultimate backstage pass to the underbelly of comic book and pop culture industry and history. Rob speaks to topics that always start from the perspective of a fan first, industry insider second. Because I was only 10 years old when I started reading comics in the early 90’s, I was only aware of what was happening IN COMICS. But after listening to Robservations, it’s amazing how much was happening AROUND the comics industry.
If you’re a fan of comics, toys, TV, movies, and pop culture, you’ll be delighted to add Robservations to your playlist. If you’re not into comics, you’ll find something of value in the 300+ episode library. Rob’s perspective is fresh, fun, and most of all, factual (he brings the receipts every time). Seriously though, when are we going to get “The L Boys” streaming show? I need that ASAP! And yes, Rob’s impression of Todd is worth the price of admission alone.
