Interesting, Informative, and Entertaining
As with history this could be a dull rambling on of dates, names and events. However Rob and Jamie have knack of making you want to listen. Although they borrowed the scoring format from the Rex Factor, another great podcast, they have put their own stamp on it. The facts are presented in such a way that they are interesting, informative, and entertaining. When the facts get a bit thin this does not deter them. The introduction of the Jeff line. The bumbling but well meaning legionnaire whose grandson becomes a senator and Roger who seems to have become the imperial messenger are skillfully woven into the episodes. We learn of some of the many hobbies/past times of the emperors; collecting sea shells, fighting killers whales, lions, flies, wandering the streets and allies in a hooded cloak, building walls, hosting rather interesting dinner parties, and of course fighting battles. Although most die at the end of a pointy ended object however one was said to be hit by lightening. Well put together and presented guys. I enjoy it very much. Thanks for all you hard work and dedicate.
