“Okay, I realize that I’m super late to the conversation but since the hubbs and I discovered this podcast and have been binge listening (we are on episode 14), I just can’t help but say that every example of the word pedantic provided in reviews thus far have been an egregious misuse of the word. Here’s a sentence that may help put it into context: “R&L feel like old friends with whom we can share our deepest and most intimate secrets. Their organic and impulsive banter is a much needed break from the monotony of our pedantic vanilla lives—with meetings, deadlines, budgets, schedules, and spreadsheets. We welcome each chance to listen to their stories in all their laid-back spontaneity. The only drawback is that we wish we were in Mexico nearly every time we tune in!”
