Personal & gripping.
The negative reviews here don’t make any sense to me. The podcast is excellent so far, well produced and paced to match the TV series, not to draw out or to “pad” the story. Perhaps those reviewers want all their stories as quick FB posts or tweets? This story —this set of stories— requires context and nuance, because it’s very wacky...and real...and being told by the people who are IN it. Harrowing. A story being told at the right time, because the unspeakable horridness matches the vileness of our national — international — political situation today. It’s good to hear good people telling the truth, even awful truth.

TNT advertises this Monday night. So I searched and found it but, what is it? A four minute intro! Don’t advertise that you can listen to the podcast in the present when you don’t have it available!!!

It’s is clear there are A LOT of moving pieces and people involved in this twisted family tree. What’s just as incredible as the story is that all of the family is willing to participate in unpacking the family baggage. I’m so excited for next week already!
