“I’m going to use the restroom real quick.” Jia’s husband opens his eyes and looks at his phone. It’s 1AM. The two of them are on an overnight train heading home. He blinks before ripping his blanket off to escort his wife -  “No, it’s okay. I have my phone with me. Just stay here. I’ll be back quick.” She leaves for the restroom - careful to not wake up any of the other passengers in the sleeper carriage. She climbs down the bunk bed steps and balances through the aisle to the restroom.  BAM. Jia’s husband eye’s fly open and he checks the time. 1:30AM. It’s been thirty minutes and his wife is not back from the restroom. Strange…  He searches the entire carriage before alerting the train conductor…  “Please you have to help my wife is missing!” The train conductor smiles at him. “Don’t be ridiculous. Nobody goes missing on a moving train.” Full Source Notes: rottenmangopodcast.com To learn more about listener data and our privacy practices visit: https://www.audacyinc.com/privacy-policy Learn more about your ad choices.
