Latest figures from Gaza show that over 76,000 people, mainly civilians, have been injured by Israel over the course of the war, while 33,000 people have been killed. We spoke to Dr Mohamed Shaalan, a surgeon based in Ireland who has just returned from the European hospital where he has been volunteering.
