I appreciate this podcast so much. I have a very surface understanding of DR and Haitian history. I knew of the white supremacy but this podcast gives me a deeper understanding. it sounds like so much of Latin America. To think I almost decided to abandon it after the first episode.

Chris Rivas is a gifted storyteller, naturally engaging, curious and charming. His discovery of a little known (at least in our time) real life Dominican Bond inspired him to deep dive into a complex web of history, politics and race - and the resulting podcast is a wonderful journey to listen to!
