For runners who want to be self-compassionate
Running often demands so much self-motivation, which can easily turn into self-judgement. This podcast won’t let me start that narrative with myself. Since becoming a regular listener a year ago, I have become a more compassionate runner, which means running with myself has gotten a lot better. Also, Julie and Lisa are really experienced runners, but their enthusiasm and joy about running is what makes their qualifications shine. I’ll be a first-time Boston Marathon runner this April, and the information I got from this podcast is stellar and has tremendously boosted my confidence. At the same time, I know that listening along has also helped me to be a better person and to like myself more. And isn’t that extra push in the right direction what we all need?
