Run run run little Nadia
Nadia, a Russian Blue cat, is on the run from the secret lab that so painfully enhanced her intelligence so she could talk. Brian, her knight in tuna can armor, is helping her escape. But can the two of them outwit the competing agencies seeking to use the dainty, gray feline as an espionage weapon? Humor meets suspense in this clever cat escapade. I adored the two main characters, Nadia and Brian. Clever Nadia has huge catitude and Brian is a bit bumbling but brave especially when opposable thumbs are needed. And I learned some Russian words and phrases during their adventures. Be sure and listen to the end of each session for a review of Russian vocabulary. The discussion of pronouns and tenses is useful. But the commentary is often amusing. For example, the Russian language has a male and female version for most nouns. Therefore when an observer yells “Look there’s a cat,” she must guess as to whether the cat is male or female to choose the probable gender ending for the word cat. Oh let’s not forget the fun of learning how to call somebody an idiot in Russian. My only complaint is that the author Pam Cameron is toying with the readers by only posting the first three episode. 😀🐱

This well written tale takes the listener on a journey with a cat named Nadia. The people and places are so well described that the listener is transported to places as seen and experienced by Nadia.
