Meh.
It could be a lot better. I was excited to see a podcast tackling workplace woes, but this podcast is about as dry as the come. I love the call in questions, but there’s a stiffness and lack of variety that makes this show very boring. There’s very little information in regards to those just starting out or those trying to find the ladder, let along climb it. It all sounds like something I would have heard 15 or 20 years ago. The advice seems reasonable, but it doesn’t offer a lot in the way of alternative solutions. Liz’s answers end up being “well, it is what is is.” A very corporate, upper management response. Matt’s answers are vague at best. Neither of them bring a lot of excitement or creativity to the table.

I love the chemistry between Liz and Rico. Rico finally filled the gap that was missing. I love coach Larry’s opinion. I listen and laugh on the drive to work. Keep the funny coming. Work should have some haha involved.

I look forward to this podcast, its both informative and entertaining. Here’s something that really hit home for me. Tracy Brower said ‘A culture is significantly defined by the worst behavior it will tolerate.’ So true!
