When it comes to Marketing @ Sales, I check first with Steve Larsen.
Why? 1st. I have no time to lose. Too valuable. 2nd. For what I’m looking for, easy to understand, actionable content, I’ll pick him 1st. 3rd. Do I get results then? Guess! I know there are Mega Super Stars of Marketing and Sales. From latest reborn Dan Kennedy, to Eugene M. Schwartz, and so many others. And don’t get me wrong, I regularly check and read/view/listen to their content. I came to this conclusion: LOOP #1: IF THIS: I’m looking for a simple way to learn one piece of Marketing or Sales that I can use straight on, almost instantly, I will first: THEN THAT: Ask « Does Steve Larsen have something about that topic? » YES: Sweet! Consume. Learn. Apply. Next Piece. NO: Dam it. IF NO: LOOP #2: ASK:Can I come up with a different question? Because, unusually if I ask a wrong question, I get a wrong answer. And basic common sense often help me stop pursuing that path. Resume LOOP #1 from the start.
