Sigh
I so wanted to love this Podcast because the topic is such a compelling one but the hosts have a habit of standing in their own way. The research is shaky at best and often is taken from Wikipedia or a friend that read a book and told them about it. The result is a muddled story being told that even the hosts get bored of because they constantly veer off topic. At times the off topic rambling ends up being 30-40% of the show and you’re left wondering why they even tackled a specific topic if they’re not interested enough in it to do real research. I truly thought that maybe the first few podcasts were just learning curves and it would get better with time and after listening to their critiques but it has remained static. I just binged listened to 7 episodes and sometimes it’s so painful that I just want to reach through the phone to help out! These ladies have a great rapport with one another and can be so fun and funny. I really think they could have the best podcast on their hands but there needs to be more effort and research put into the topic. If the stories are too complex call on experts to pitch hit so that the stories are more accurate and detailed.

I wanted to like this. I was interested in the content but could NOT listen to a full episode because of their sorority girl like back and forth conversation.

I love these kinds of podcasts but I don’t think I can get through this due to their voices. Seriously, stop up-talking!

I looooooove this podcast!! Caitlin and Sue are so funny and fun and listening to these “Scamsperts” is the highlight of my week. I fully binged every episode and look forward to Thursday’s like it’s Christmas morning! I love how different the scams are and all their guest “scamspondants”!
