Love hearing different points of view
It helps me challenge my own thinking. I listened to your new podcast and I love it. I already had two aha moments about the favourite child. The fact that it can be a temporary thing and each child can have their chance at it… but also that it’s worse to pretend to not have one if you do. Awareness is always so key. If you are aware, you can decide whether it is something you want to pursue or not. And I am confident your debate will give parents food for thought to make their own decisions. And I also resonate with the idea that you can get along better with one child. It’s not favouritism in that case, not to me anyway. Looking forward to having a peek into the consequences of favouritism. I know them personally, as a favourite child: being my dad’s favourite entailed a lot of jealousy not just from my siblings but my mum. Not a nice experience.

I absolutely love Danusia’s interview skills and the depths of conversation these women go into. Such an array of wonderful successful women with such interesting stories! A must listen.
