A bit bare...
I like that these kinds of podcasts are available. However, this particular one is a bit bare bones and leaves too many questions about its own conclusions. Specifically I would have to agree with Josh about Yannic's poor connection between micro and macro evolution. There is in fact a great difference between the two. Micro refers to genotypic differences within a species and macro refers to the phenotypic traits of a species. The argument against macro evolution is that the genotypic variations in a species will not necessarily translate into a different phenotypic expression, i.e. another species. This is not addressed and thus it is really very simplistic and false to just say micro and macro are the same with respect to allowance of the time variable.

Speaker does not understand what intelligent design teaches. I just listened to episode four, and Miller does not understand the different between "micro" and "macro" evolution. The difference is not one of scale. The difference is between 1.) existing traits being modified and 2.) new traits...Read full review »
